Rakesh Roshan has all but one of the films made by his production company - Film Kraft. The last three films produced under the banner, Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai, Koi... Mil Gaya and Krrish featured his son Hrithik Roshan in the lead.
Rakesh Roshan is now inclined to empanel a set of directors to work on films produced under the Film Kraft banner, a la Yash Raj films. All the films, spanning different genres, will feature Hrithik Roshan in the lead.
According to the Mumbai Mirror a total of 10 directors have been approached to come up with scripts written with Hrithik in mind.
Amongst them is Anurag Basu, whose recent Life in a Metro has won critical acclaim and is doing reasonably well at the box office.
"Rakeshji had liked Gangster, and after watching Metro he called me to say that he really liked the film," Basu told Mumbai Mirror,
"He asked me to write a script for him but I'm quite anxious about the fate of the script. What if they don't like my script!" he added.
Basu's apprehensions are well founded since Hrithik is known to be choosy.
According to a friend of Hrithik, "Hrithik is a perfectionist and extremely hard to please. He will never work in a film unless he likes the script. He asks a lot of questions before picking up a film."
